The Montana Main Street program is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a Preserve America subgrant from the Montana State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). The purpose of the grant is to focus downtown planning and build capacity under the Main Street program.
Four communities will be selected on a competitive basis, and each will receive up to $7,500 to fund a recommended planning effort. There will be a cash or in-kind match requirement up to $5,000 for each community, depending on the amount of funding received.
